our church has a pastor (starting in January).
i tan easily.
i hate beartracks.
i am going to edmonton this week.
i played soccer today.
being nice to people who aren't nice is hard. Very hard.
the harvestmoon festival lineup looks pretty intense.

work and play

so now i am part of the work force... it's pretty sweet cuz right now all we're doing is 'training', which consists of playing games such as tag, freeze tag, tv tag,etc., ultimate frisbee, playing with a parachute, and many more games. other than playing games, we brainstorm other games to play while throwing a frisbee around. then after all this 'work', we take a 20 minute break cuz we're so spent. Oh, the life of a training day camp counsellor.

HAHAHAHAHAHA the only bad thing is that i have to wake up at 6:30 instead of 10:00, which causes me to come home tired. so, i guess you could say, work tires me out... although work and play for me right now is a bit ambiguous...

i also work with 7 girls. the only other guy is my boss. if my boss were a female, it would be even weirder. but it's kool now. the girls are pretty kool... not as kool as boys, but you know, u can't have the best all the time. HAHAHA~ plus they're all taken... not like i wanna take or anything... or ... ya... no... anyways...

today i went to prayer meeting at church. i take prayer for granted. actually... i think i take pretty much EVERYTHING for granted... hopefully this causes you to stop and think about how you can maybe not take something for granted today~

persecution

plz check out www.persecution.com and sign up for the email list so you can pray for Christians being persecuted around the world. i was so naive... i had no idea this was still happening until i read the book Jesus Freaks, which led me to the Voice of the Martyrs, the organization who runs the site. Some of the stories and pictures are graphic, but sadly, also very very real.

chores

so my mom and i are cleaning the basement. we move stuff around, throw stuff away, vacuum... i clean up the bar so it actually looks like a bar, not some place for storage... next is the storage room.

my mom tells me to vacuum up the mice poo cuz ... well... its mice poo. i oblige, and in goes the hose. as i am vacuuming, there seems to be a massive MASSIVE dust ball... wait a minute... the last time i saw a dust ball this big... IT'S A DECOMPOSING DEAD DISGUSTING MOUSE!!!

ya this one was ACTUALLY disgusting... it wasn't fresh like the other one... it was ... decomposing.... sick sick sick... my mom, being the amazing and confident woman she is, tells me she will dispose of it. i am, to say the least, thankful.

i hate mice.

i believe in the power of prayer.
please pray for my friend Eric who is haveing heart surgery tomorrow. He is like no one i've ever known... probably the funniest and most random person in the whole wide world. you may have read some of his comments on my blog. Yes, he's like that in real life.

I am praying for you Eric.

so one more week before i work for 6 whole weeks. 6 whole weeks!!! this past week i worked for three days straight and i came home tired every day. how am i gonna lst 6 weeks?!?!?!
